The Brief

digitalLab were given the challenge to provide full-service digital marketing services to increase sales in all areas of the brands; Renault, Dacia, Subaru and Nissan in Slovenia. 

The client also wanted to increase awareness of the brands across all the locations of the stores, and transit from offline advertising such as billboards to online advertising.

The Approach

  • We developed and executed marketing plans and programs across all brands, both short and long-range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of new and used cars, test drive and services.
  • We were consistent with long-term loyalists, determined the brand’s target audience, researched brands within the niche, and outlined the key qualities and benefits of the brands.
  • Integrated the brand into every aspect of the business.
  • We communicated with customers to determine their needs and interests.
  • We evaluated market reactions to advertising programs, and media placement.
  • Prepared marketing and other reports and present them to dealership management.
  • Tracked marketing results to be certain that marketing objectives are achieved within designated budgets. Took corrective action when necessary.
  • We started a blog on the website to educate visitors, communicate our client’s value proposition and clearly state how they provide customers with what they need. 
  • Collected testimonials and endorsements, including Google reviews on home and product pages.
  • Crafted offer deals and promotions – assign a dedicated place on the website to attract buyers. Include inventory data to communicate the limited nature of the deal.
  • Created compelling text ads with the proper tone of voice and copywriting in place.
  • We managed to be at the top of the Google SERP.
  • Actively managed all negative keyword list.
  • Adjusted the campaign budgets based on car-buying trends.
  • Used all call features possible.

The Challenge

The ultimate challenge was to sell more vehicles, bring users to use the services and rake in profits. Growth isn’t that simple for auto brands, as people don’t make a car purchase numerous times a year. In order to sustain the business, we have to generate solid leads and convert them into paying customers.
